About Us

Juswen farms is nestled at the foot of the Olympic mountains on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Port Angeles, Washington. Juswen Farms was established in 1999 with the marriage of Justin and Wendy Peterson.

Jan Peterson, Justin's mother, built the beautiful indoor arena and barn on her property, the Diamond J Ranch. Justin and Wendy had always dreamed of a beautiful, clean, convenient private training facility and Jan made their dream come true.

Juswen farms specializes in training Reining and Pleasure horses. Both Justin and Wendy train and show horses for clients at many events throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Our training program includes lessons for the horse owners, so that they too can learn to show their own horse. Lessons are also available to outside horse owners.

Quarter horses, The Mighty Oaks offspring and miniature horses are an important part of the farm. Two stallions are currently standing at Juswen farms, The Mighty Oak (AQHA) and Marshiek's Cutter (AMHR). Juswen farms have a few fine pleasure and reining prospects available for purchase.
